WORKING AT THE HEART OF
THE COMMUNITY

Situated in the Central Lowlands of Scotland, South Lanarkshire is a diverse area both in terms of the people who live here and the areas they live in. It's the perfect combination of a thriving modern economy and stunning rural landscapes rich in history. South Lanarkshire's central location also means that it benefits from superb road and rail links with the rest of the UK, making it the ideal place for both business and leisure.

The area is made up of a number of different towns and villages, a blend that reflects the diversity that our organisation embraces. Geographically, South Lanarkshire can be divided into several different areas.

Cambuslang and Rutherglen are situated on the northwestern tip of the region and are close to Glasgow. Both towns are benefiting from substantial investment in their town centres.

Clydesdale is made up of the country towns of Lanark and Carluke as well as nearby villages.

East Kilbride is a thriving new town and boasts the largest indoor shopping complex in Scotland. The area also includes neighbouring smaller towns and villages.

Hamilton boasts impressive architecture and is home to our headquarters.

Show your community you care - work for it.
